The biotechnology-related line of research will address topics in bionanotechnology focused on the discovery of new molecular markers and the production of molecule ligands of these markers, which can be used for both the development of new diagnostic platforms and the production of smart-drug carriers for therapeutic applications against chronic-degenerative, infectious and parasitic diseases.
