Processos seletivos
Definitions:

The Brazilian funding agencies The Coordination of Training of Higher Education Graduate Foundation (CAPES), The National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq) and The Research Supporting Foundation of Minas Gerais (FAPEMIG), follow a permanent quota scholarships scheme for masters and doctoral programmes to ensure that a specific number of scholarships is forwarded to the accredited  Post-graduate Programs across  Brazil (CAPES and CNPq), and the State of Minas Gerais (FAPEMIG). The distribution of these scholarships falls under the responsibility of the respective Collegiate Councils of each Programme, in accordance with the provisions laid down in its regulations.

According to the regulations of our program, the distribution criteria are established by the Scholarship Committee, which is indicated by the Collegiate Council and subsequently established by Ordinance by the Director of the Institute of Biomedical Sciences (ICBIM). The Collegiate itself will be the Scholarship Commission as established through Ordinance No. ICBIM 04/11 April 15, 2011.

This Commission has determined that scholarship distribution within the Programme must follow the criteria of the order of merit of the selection process. It should be pointed out that a limited number of scholarships is forwarded by CAPES, CNPq, and FAPEMIG to universities with Post-Graduate programs. The Post Graduate program in Applied Cell and Structural Biology is therefore not responsible for granting scholarships to all new students.

Requirements:

Should the foreign student be approved in all stages of the Program selection process, this individual will need to meet the following requirements: I. Prove their undergraduate studies and have their graduation diploma admitted through the criteria established in the Program Rules; II. Prove their legal status in national territory; III. Non-lusophone candidates should present the approval certificate from PROFLIN – Portuguese Language from ILEEL-UFU (http://www.ileel.ufu.br/proflin) or the Certificate CELPE-BRAS (http://www.mec.gov.br/sesu/celp.shtm), observing the same conditions and the same validities as all other proficiency certificates.
